The Burly Bulletin is independently managed by Nashville-based burlesque performer and producer Autumn Leaves. The Nashville burlesque and variety scene needed an area for calendars and resources that was outside of social media, so she took it upon herself to build this site. Accessibility is important to creative communities and oftentimes social media can restrict the reach of certain types of performance arts.
